Lake Park Raiders in Niles, Ohio March 10, 2018
The day started off at a chilly 17 degrees and ended up somewhere around a balmy 34 degrees but the sun was shining bright and there was no precipitation! No foolin’! How’s that for a change in the weather?
The Magnificent Seven-teen!
A posse of seventeen good-natured cowboy/cowgirl paper punchers came out to the Western Reserve Fish and Game Club in Niles, Ohio to slap leather and sling lead at the March Saturday CAS Match with the Lake Park Raiders.
The First Place win went to Straight Stock, the straight shootin’ winner from Pennsylvania.
Congratulations, Straight Stock!
Laramie Leadslinger came in Second Place with Krazy Thom coming in Third.
Hagen won the Fourth Place slot with Ol’ Slow Mo coming in Fifth! Ain’t that a wonder-ment!
Congratulations to all our winners and participants!
We started off “easy” with the MO-dified MOhio scenario and progressed to the action-packed Krazy Thom goes to Nevada Sweep complete with real horse handlin’ things and stuff, then did a disastrous Culpepper Sweep scenario with 2 chances to get the 5 second bonus!
That scenario is goin’ the way of the “All 4 One Sweep!” Straight out to Boot Hill! HaHa!
We finished up with The Bad Eye Blob Sweep, “the ‘L’ is silent”, and the Snake sweep for St. Patrick’s Day! “Uaagghh!” (Bad Eye quote).
I hope everyone had a fun time and went home smiling and we hope everyone comes back to do it again!
Our next March match is the
Thursday Work Shirker Open Class match on the
29th, in the year 2018!
We’ll have to save the Easter Bunny from a hungry prairie python and mess up Johnny Ringo’s Easter egg hunt, do the Krazy Thom Meets Bad Eye Blob sweep, “bonus out” with the Blazin’ Kane Triple Tap sweep and finish up with The Big Time Dump scenario! Whew! Looks like fun!
