"I got some Rolaids, Mister Thom!"

"Thanks... I'll eat'em now!"

The Lake Park Raiders Ride Again!

Thursday November 29, 2018

How’s your aim?

Mine’s pretty good when I have some sights to line up!

Bigger targets help and that’s just what Hagen and the Brunswick Kid have decided to do for us this indoor shooting season at Niles, Ohio!

They have given us bigger and better targets with a 10 minute intermission after the first three stages have been shot!

The 10 minute intermission allows them to throw up the last 2 Old West stages on our giant cardboard wall!

There’s plenty of elbow room and wide open space to look at!

After your 10 minute break, you return to the line refreshed and ready to kick some serious CAS into high gear! HaHaHa!

You could go home with a winning score sheet to hang on your wall!

Our next match is: Thursday November 29, 2018

It’s the Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS Match!

Be in any class you want at any time on any stage!

It’s Ok! It’ll be fun! Trust me!

We’re gonna shoot the Krazy Thom Stairway sweep and the Zig-Zag sweep, the Lone Ranger sweep, and the Two-One-Two sweep, and finish it all up with a visit from Joe Z. Whale! YeeeHawww!

So join us indoors for a few hours of Old West excitement and jollification as we blast away the squares that hang around on the wall of the:

Western Reserve Fish and Game Association.

1058 West Third Street, Niles, Ohio 44446

Doors open at 9:00 am ** Action starts at 10:00 am.

Match fee is 10 United States dollars!

Free Coffee and Donuts!

No lunch available so bring some snacks if you’re gonna git hungry!

***** *****

Leave the gun cart home unless it has a special purpose…

Bring ALL your cowboy guns!

Leave the shotgun ammo home!

The club will provide 20 gauge and 12 gauge shotgun ammo!

I hope to see you there!

Visitors and spectators are always welcome. Hearing protection and eye protection(safety glasses) is mandatory.

Important Notice:

Sorry, Pards! Smokeless powder only!

We love our black powder shooters but the building is too small to accommodate 5 stages worth of smoke from all our black powder aficionados!

All my best,

Slow Mo Dern

“Cowboy Action Shooting is a wonderful sport and these activities promote honesty, moral correctness, a love of history, and it’s a heck of a lot of fun!

- David Chicoine

Think about it, where else could you go and dress up like a cowboy or western movie actor, talk like you were from Wyoming, even though you grew up in Akron, enjoy your favorite sport (shooting) and play the ham all at the same time without the slightest chance of being ridiculed?

Go out there and try it, you’ll be glad you did!
