Outdoor CAS at Brookfield! Thursday May 30, 2019!

"Uh,oh! We're not in Kansas anymore, Tuco!"

"Hey, Blondie! This looks like Yankee Flats!"

"We're just in time for the Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS Match!"

There are 2 kinds of people, my friend....

Outdoor CAS at Brookfield Conservation Club in Masury, Ohio!

Thursday May 30, 2019!

You know what this means?

It’s time for the:

Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS Match!

“It’s your call, Virgil!”

Shoot any style you want at any time on any stage!

Step out of the “comfort zone” and walk on the wild side…if you dare!

Five fun stages of goodly merriment together with a few surprises and some fun things that shouldn’t surprise you!

Doors and gates open at 9:00 am…

Lead goes down range about 10:00 after the Pledge, Shooter’s Welcome, and a brief safety meeting.

Match fee is still only $10! Barrels of fun at last year’s prices!

No lunch will be provided this time so bring some edibles if yer gonna git hongry! I like beef jerky from Trumbull Locker and Trail Mix!

Look for the MO-defied Krazy Thom sweep, the Ohio sweep, the simulated State Route 11 antlered quadruped scenario, Dakota Bert’s Saloon, Miss Katie’s Cactus Corral, and The Old Fort! That’s fort, with an “O”!

We'll bust some flyin' birds and shoot some adequate sized rats, hit some “too little” plates and ring some steel just like John Henry ‘cept somewhat differently! It’ll be fun, trust me!

Bring plenty of shotgun shells!

Black powder is definitely allowed!

Visitors and spectators are always welcome. Bring your safety glasses and hearing protection. Gas mask is optional! Safety first!

If it rains; we’ll shoot 5 fun-filled stages on the pistol range under the roof!

I hope to see you there!

All the best,

Slow Mo Dern

“Cowboy Action Shooting is a wonderful sport and these activities promote honesty, moral correctness, a love of history, and it’s a heck of a lot of fun!”

- David Chicoine

Think about it, where else could you go and dress up like a cowboy or western movie actor, talk like you were from Wyoming, even though you grew up in Akron, enjoy your favorite sport (shooting) and play the ham all at the same time without the slightest chance of being ridiculed?

Go out there and try it, you’ll be glad you did!
