Come join the Shenango River Rats!
We’re going to have another Cowboy Action Shooting match down in the woods, under the trees, and out on the range where seldom is heard a discouraging word and the sky is not cloudy all day!
This is Saturday August 10, 2019!
We will shoot 5 fun-filled stages of Old West wackiness:
The Abilene sweep at Dakota Bert’s Saloon and the Rat Hotel, the Plate Rack at the Cactus Corral with a Joe Z. Wales sweep, a Two-Two-One sweep over at the cabbage patch with some double tappin’, shootin’ a wild elk and a big square, ringin’some bells, and of course, bustin’ some flyin’ birds at the fort!
There will be a mess of shotgun targets so bring plenty of shotgun shells!
Sound like fun? You bet! A good time might be had by all!
Sign-up and registration starts at 9:00 am.
Coffee and Donuts in the morning!
Shooting starts promptly somewhere around 10:00 am after a brief safety meeting, Shooter’s Welcome, and the Pledge of Allegiance.
The match fee is a fist-full of 10 dollars!
Lunch will be served after the match for 5 dollars more.
If it rains we’ll have a match “under the roof” at the 25 yard pistol range across from where we keep the tractors.
Visitors and spectators are always welcome! Bring your safety glasses and hearing protection!

Think about it, where else could you go and dress up like a cowboy or western movie actor, talk like you were from Wyoming, even though you grew up in Akron, enjoy your favorite sport (shooting) and play the ham all at the same time without the slightest chance of being ridiculed?
Go out there and try it, you’ll be glad you did!
