"Yikes! What posse is this?!"
"Well, this has gotta be the Shenango River Rats!"
"Which one's Dynamite Magoo?"
"The good-lookin' one with the vest!"
This synopsis is coming out later than I would like but I have been too busy to “get to it!” I do apologize.

That’s all the news I have that’s fit to sing.
We had a near perfect match and by perfect I mean it was about 10 on my “fun scale!” If I’m having fun throughout the match—it’s a “good match!”
I always have fun at a cowboy action match!
The elk was running pretty dern good! This made for much joy and happiness!
Our trap machine, Old Faithful, decided to come undone on the last stage of our perfect match causing grief, panic, and annoyance to the fair-minded among us!
Shenango Joe quickly determined the main spring had come loose and that it could be re-installed only by a bad hombre with the strength of a gorilla! AwwSh**t!
A good time was had by all! The River Rats crew got many compliments and kind words and as you know, cowboys don’t lie!
So we wrapped things up, packed things up, and retired to the clubhouse to get ribbons, door prizes, and Barb’s chocolate chip cookies! Yum!
Thanks to all the folks who came to help with chores on Friday, through the week, and at the match. Salute!
Your help is always appreciated!
Please keep all the River Rats who couldn’t attend the match in your thoughts and prayers. Several folks couldn’t attend because of sickness or injury but we’re thinking of them.
Video and fast-draw artist, Willie Miss will be having surgery on his arms for pinched ulnar nerves. He will be “out of commission” for a while but we’ll welcome him back in the spring. Best of luck, Willie.
Wyatt N. Erdy is still out so please keep him in your thoughts also. Thank you.
Our next match is on Saturday October 12, 2019.
5 stages of Old West wackiness at last year’s prices! We still take gold…
Brookfield CAS! Same time, same station, maybe with a change in the weather!
We hope to see you then!
All our best,
Slow Mo Dern
And all the Shenango River Rats
