"C'mon, Will. I know you know how to shotgun shoot bottles an' such..."
"You mean all I gotta do is knock down this here plate an' a bottle's gonna fly up in the air?"
"That's right, Will. A bottle's gonna fly up in the air an' you shoot it!"
"What if I miss?"
"You ain't gonna miss! If you do -- you gotta shoot 2 'knock-down' bottles but you ain't gonna miss!"
Will doesn't realize he's still on the clock ...

All that jollification and merriment can make a shootist quite HONGRY and big thanks to Miss Tiff and Mrs. Dee Dee, the whole posse returned to the clubhouse for a huge sandwich tray lunch with huge lunch sandwiches, potato salad, macaroni salad, Cheetos, chips, red, white and blue cupcakes, homemade peanut butter brownies, chocolate brownies, and a kiddie pool full of iced-down root beer, cokes, and other assorted sodie-pop! Yeehaaaa!
I hope everybody went home happy and well fed.
Tiffany and Dee Dee provided us with quite a spread and we want to thank them for their kindness, generosity, and courtesy. Thanks, ladies! You’re the best!
Thanks to all for making Tommy No Guns feel welcome. Hopefully we’ll see more of him. He would be an asset to any posse.
Big thanks to Missouri Jake for letting us use his trailer for the day. Thanks, Jake!
Thank you all for coming out, joining us, and making the match a success. It was about as nice a day as could be asked for. We even beat the rain.
Our next match will be on Saturday July 11, 2020.
We’ll have 5 more fun-filled stages with outlaw gangs, hotel rats, cabbage patch renegades, damsels in distress, picnic plates, flying bottles, flying birds, and maybe even a long range option for the adventurous! Sounds like fun to me!
Spectators and visitors are always welcome to our matches but please wear your eye protection and hearing protection. It’s mandatory. Thank you.
Special note: There are many friends that couldn’t attend the match today because of health concerns and other issues but please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We’re thinking of them. Thank you.
We hope to see you at our next match.
We want to wish everyone a happy and safe
Fourth of July weekend!
Be safe and God bless,
Slow Mo Dern and all the Shenango River Rats
