"Where you goin' Uncle Ethan? Are you gonna look for Little Debbie again?"

"Naw, I already found her once. I ain't lookin' for her again!

I'm goin' to Yankee Flats. They got a shootin' match there this Thursday. It's the Thursday Work-Shirker Open Class CAS Match and I aim to win it!"

"What are the prizes?"

"I don't know but if my old pals, the River Rats, are puttin' it on; it might be good! 'Course they don't have a lotta money for big fancy prizes... cuz they're river rats ya see....

Big John is discussing his next adventure with "blanket head Martin."

The Shenango River Rats are Gonna Ride Again!

Howdy!

Come join us for a Cowboy Action match on

Thursday July 30, 2020!

That right! Thursday July 30,2020

It’s the

Last Thursday of the Month Work-Shirker Open Class CAS Match!

We have five fast, fun-filled EZ stages guaranteed to put you in a “goodly state of merriment, amazement, and wonderment!”

This is the match that was scheduled “over the river and through the woods under the shady trees” a few weeks ago but was sadly rained upon!

We’re going to try it again!

Gates open at 9:00 am

Lead down range at around 10:00 am after the Pledge of Allegiance and a “brief” safety meeting.

Tons of fun at last year’s prices!

Bring your snacks because no lunch is scheduled!

Water will be provided by the club in tasteful little plastic bottles!

We’re going to start the match with a quick stage at Joe’s Mercantile, do the Abilene sweep at the Cactus Corral, head over to the Rat Hotel for the Indiana sweep and some quick rat extermination, then it’s off to the Cabbage Patch for another quick one followed by some flying birds and a 10 target round count at Fort Miami.

Sound like fun? You bet! No real chickens will be hurt, no elks will be shot, no birds will really be annihilated, but we’ll blast some rats for sure! 10 of ‘em! Bring plenty shotgun shells!

If it rains we’ll shoot “up top and under the roof” where we’ll try to stay high and dry!

Bring your mask, hand sanitizer, and any other personal protection equipment you think you might need.

Bring some extra money! There might be items for sale.

Word has it that there might be guests and visitors too!

Spectators and visitors are always welcome but you must wear your hearing protectors and safety glasses. It’s mandatory. Safety every time, that’s us!

We hope to see you there!

Be safe and God bless,

Slow Mo Dern
